How to view the encryption status of a message
It’s natural to want assurance that an email you sent or received is indeed encrypted and secure. Private.Ki provides indicators so you can verify the encryption status of messages.
When viewing a message, the green closed lock icon shows you that this is an encrypted email. It's fully encrypted with PGP. Metadata is encrypted with AES.
When you hover over the button with your mouse, it shows PGP-encrypted:
When you see this green closed lock, you can be sure that your message content and its metadata is fully encrypted.
