Signatures
Email signatures are blocks of text (or images/links) automatically appended to the end of your outgoing emails. Often people include their name, title, contact info, or a favorite quote, etc. On Private.Ki, you can set up custom signatures so that every email you send will include this standardized footer.
Go to your Private.Ki Settings:
You will find the signature settings in General settings, the first settings page:
To add a new signature, click on Create + :
This opens the signature editor window in which you can set up an email signature:
You can stylize it as needed. Keep in mind that overly large or complex signatures (especially with big images) can sometimes be distracting, so simpler is often better.
Click on Create to save your signature.
After that, your signature appears in signature settings:
Activate it by moving the slider to the right:
It looks like this when it's activated:
Once a signature is activated, your new signature will automatically appear at the bottom of the message body in the composer window:
You can type above it as you write your email.
The signature will be prefaced with a separator like “-- ” after your message text. You can always manually delete the signature from a certain email, if you like.
You can add as many signatures as you like in the signature settings, but only one can be activated at a time:
Deleting a signature is easy, just click on the Trash icon, and it will be permanently removed:
You can't delete the signature that's currently active, you have to deactivate it first.
All your signatures are encrypted with AES. No one besides you can view the signatures which you set up.
