Changing your password

It’s a good security practice to update your account password periodically or whenever you suspect it may be compromised. Here's how you change your password on Private.Ki:

Navigate to Settings:

Click on Security and Privacy:

On top of the screen, you will now see the Password section:

Type in your old password and your desired new password (twice). Then click on the Save button:

After that, you will see the confirmation that your password has been successfully changed:

From now on, you need to use the new password to log in to Private.Ki.

Remember:

• We never store your password. We don't know it.
• This is about changing your login password for your Private.Ki account. Don't confuse it with the encryption passphrase.
• If you have forgotten your password, there may be a way to recover it through Password Recovery.
