My Private.Ki account is locked
Finding out your account is locked can be alarming, but it’s often a protective measure. An account lock usually means that Private.Ki detected something risky associated with your account and temporarily froze access to prevent potential unauthorized entry.
We also lock accounts for abuse or violations of our Terms of Service, for example spam.
For example, if there were multiple failed login attempts in a short time, or signs that someone obtained your password, the system might lock the account as a precaution.
f your account is locked, the first thing to do is check your recovery email (if you set one) for any message from Private.Ki with further instructions.
If you didn’t set any recovery options, the process is trickier (by design, for security). You might have to contact our support team.
